National Library of Armenia /NLA/ / Հայկական գրադարանային ասոցիացիա /ՀԳԱ/
The Armenian National Library is a methodic and informational all-republican academic research centre for library studies and bibliography. It is the biggest vault of Armenian printed products in the world.
Khnko Aper National Children’s Library / Խնկո Ապոր անվան ազգային մանկական գրադարան
By conducting library studies, cultural and educational activities, the National Children's Library after Khnko Aper promotes reading among children an young adults. As a National vault for children's books, it collects, preserves and provides an even more consummate collection of Amenian-written printed products to readers.
National Library of Australia
The Library's role, as defined by the National Library of Australia Act 1960, is to ensure that documentary resources of national significance relating to Australia and the Australian people, as well as significant non-Australian library materials, are collected, preserved and made accessible either through the Library itself or through collaborative arrangements with other libraries and information providers. By offering a strong national focus in all that we do, and cooperating with others who share our goals, we support learning, creative and intellectual endeavour, and contribute to the continuing vitality of Australia's diverse culture and heritage.
National Archive and Library of Bolivia / Archivo y Biblioteca Nacionales de Bolivia
The National Archive and Library receives, organizes, and preserves the country's intellectual production. Through its Documentary Digitization Centre, it makes this documentary heritage available it a digital form. Administratively, it belongs to the Foundation of the Central Bank of Bolivia.
National Repository – Legal Deposit / Repositorio Nacional - Deposito Legal
The organisation has the responsibility of the legal deposit in the country, including printed works and periodicals. Administratively, it belongs to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
St. St. Cyril and Methodius National Library / Naczionalna biblioteka „Sv. sv. Kiril i Metodij" (NBKM)
The National Library /est. 1878/ is the archive of Bulgarian written heritage. It is a mandatory depository for all print documents published in Bulgaria; collects  Bulgarica and has special collections with Bulgarian cultural heritage items. It maintains the national bibliography and is the national agency for ISBNs and ISSNs. It is a center for restoration and conservation of Bulgarian, Slavic, oriental and other foreign language manuscripts, archival documents, etc. The Library conducts scientific and applied science research in the field of library science, bibliography, etc. It has an extensive digitization program and many documents of cultural value are accessible online.
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) / Bibliothèques et Archives Canada (BAC)
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) was created by merging the National Library of Canada and the National Archives of Canada under the Library and Archives of Canada Act in 2004. LAC's role in the library field includes preserving Canada's documentary heritage, serving as a knowledge source for cultural, social, and economic advancement, and facilitating cooperation in knowledge preservation. Its mandate includes collecting published heritage through legal deposit, acquiring significant private archives and media, and maintaining government records. LAC aims to enhance collection diversity and visibility, particularly focusing on under-represented groups, including Indigenous communities.
National Library and Archives of Québec / Bibliothèques et Archives nationales du Québec (BANQ)
Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), founded in 2006, plays a vital role in preserving Quebec’s French-language culture and heritage. It emerged from merging the Bibliothèque nationale du Québec, the Archives nationales du Québec, and the Grande Bibliothèque. BAnQ offers free access to vast collections, both online and in 12 public buildings, including La Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal. As the largest French-language library in North America, BAnQ provides millions of physical and digital documents to Quebecers, fostering a rich cultural environment and supporting the unique identity of Quebec within Canada.
National Library of Colombia / Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia, BNC
The National Library of Colombia is the main library of bibliographic heritage in the country. It is the head representative of the National Network of Public Libraries. It guarantees the retrievement, preservation and access to the collective memory of the country. It is also responsible for planning and designing policies related to reading, public libraries, and its development.
National Library “Miguel Obregón Lizano” / Biblioteca Nacional "Miguel Obregón Lizano"
The National Library is responsible for collecting and conserving the national bibliographic heritage. It is the depositary institution of three copies of every publication made in the country (according to Printing Law and Law of Copyright and Related Rights).
National Library of Cuba José Martí / Biblioteca Nacional de Cuba José Martí
The National Library of Cuba José Martí as depository of the documentary, bibliographic, artistic, and sound treasure of the country, a patrimony of the most representative of the universal culture. It conserves bibliographic heritage, makes the national bibliographic control, is an official representative of the public libraries system. The National Library preserves scientific, cultural, educational, and social achievements of Cuba; it is a sustainable space for reading, teaching, and learning; provides free access to information and knowledge; and serves as a platform for dissemination of national culture and representation of all artistic manifestations. The National Library oversees 399 public libraries around the country which are part of the National System of Cuban Public Libraries.
Cyprus Library / Kypriaki Vivliothiki
Cyprus Library serves as a municipal public library, while it also has additional roles of being responsible for creating the national bibliography, trying to gather the publications of and about Cyprus, and acting as ISBN, ISMN and ISSN national centre. It is also the representative of Cyprus in Europeana. The Library is trying to find its way to explore other activities, including organising the other public libraries which operate under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, cooperating in projects with other libraries of Cyprus, organising events, and contribute to the digitization of material concerning Cyprus.
